Automatic PTCGO Code Redemption

Alright everyone. PTCGO just came online tonight and I've got an update ready for PTCGO Code Scanner that will help you input all those codes you've held on to a lot faster.

First thing you need to do when you open up the app is click the "Login First!" button. You can't redeem codes unless you're logged in! After that, you can scan codes one right after another just like before. Once you're done scanning all your codes, simply slide the buttons over till you get to "Redeem Codes". Click that button and it will redeem all the codes you have just scanned.

No more typing! No more copy and paste!

I will warn you that if the Pokemon website goes down then the redeem feature won't work. Luckily, you can scan your codes in and wait for the website to come back up and redeem them later.

Special thanks to Ray Lehnhoff for contributing to the automatic code redemption.

You can find the PTCGO Code Scanner app here. Version 3.0 is the latest version.

Redeem PTCGO Codes

I just updated my PTCGO Code Scanner app to include the ability to redeem PTCGO codes rather than just email them to yourself. You still have to redeem one at a time, just like on the website, but this way you don't have to type it in by hand.

You'll need to log into on your phone before you can redeem codes, but after that, just click the "redeem code" button in the sliding button bar to scan the code and send yourself to the Pokemon TCG website.

Once you redeem your code just hit back to get back to the app to scan another. As Pokemon updates their system I will try and streamline the process so it's even more automatic.

You can find the app at the bottom of this page or click here.

Speaking Jelly Bean [UPDATE]

[UPDATE] Version 2.3.1 of Speak Here Now is now showing up in the Play Store. This version should work on Jelly Bean and previous devices. Feel free to let me know if you experience any other issues.

So it seems Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) has made a few changes to the way some of the voice controls work. Because of this, you may experience some problems if using Speak Here Now on a Jelly Bean device. I'm currently pushing out an update to fix the issue, but I takes some time for it to propagate across the Google servers.

Thank you for your patience as I fix this issue. Feel free to let me know of any additional issues in the comments, or by emailing me at
